Please consider Adoray Home Health & Hospice as
your not-for-profit to donate to during the Season of Giving!
By choosing Adoray,
YOU give the gift of comfort and support during life’s most difficult transition.
YOU make it possible for grieving children and adults to find support when they are feeling lost and alone.
YOU ensure everyone in our communities from 8 months old to 100 years old have access to Hospice.
YOUR generous gift to Adoray Home Health & Hospice does all this and more.
All donations during this Giving Season will support our Care for All Campaign and patients and families like …
Lacy
Lacy was a 8-month-old baby with a chromosome disorder that came on to our hospice service after being turned away from another provider due to the higher costs in providing pediatric hospice. Adoray was the only hospice service provider in the region that had the expertise to provide the child and family with the comfort and care they needed. Adoray was honored to be there to help provide medications that provide care and comfort to and her family at the end of her life.
Ashley
Ashley has terminal colon cancer which has spread to her lungs. On admission to hospice, Ashley’s biggest complaint was her uncontrolled pain, shortness of breath and vomiting due to severe coughing attacks. Ashley was full of like and wanted to be able to be outside and with her children as much as possible. Once her symptoms were controlled Ashley was able to get out to several of her sons’ football games, and was even able to attend an important wedding. Ashley died peacefully in her home with the family by her side. Ashley received hospice service for 135 days and the total cost of her medication during that time was $5,000, which Adoray was able to help subsidize thanks to the support of our Care for All campaign.
Steve
Steve was a 54 year old with ALS and was very debilitated and required total care for all activated of daily living. He was very involved with the wrestling community and had wished to attend the state high school tournament. He knew that due to his declining condition that would very likely be his last chance to attend. The Adoray Hospice team provided education to his caregivers, along with equipment, medication, and supplies necessary for his safe and comfortable travels. We also coordinated a traveling patient contract with a Madison area hospice agency if he had an emergency while outside our service area. Upon his return, he reported, with tears in his eyes, to the Adoray Hospice nurse that we did everything we could to support him and everything was perfect.
Thank you for helping make a difference and keeping patients and families home for the holiday season.
