| | | | Dear Adoray Volunteers, As 2024 comes to a close, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for everything you do in support of Adoray Home Health & Hospice. Whether you’ve shared your time, talents, or treasures through our Hospice Volunteer Program or through your work at Adoray’s Treasures from the Heart fundraising thrift stores, your contributions are integral to our mission. Over the last three months, I have had the wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know many of you better. It has been truly inspiring to see firsthand the dedication and care that each of you brings to our organization. I look forward to continuing this journey of caring for our community together. Thanks to your dedication, Adoray is able to serve five counties in Western Wisconsin, providing compassionate care and support to those who need it most. Your commitment truly makes a difference, and we are incredibly grateful for you. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for being such an important part of the Adoray family. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in 2025! With deepest thanks, Christa Walz | | | | | | Wishing a Happy Birthday to all our amazing volunteers who are Celebrating their big day in December! | | ANN DUSEK - Dec 3 MAKEILA NYMAN - Dec 3 Joyce Carlson - Dec 4 Lynean Cronick - Dec 4 Bob Barr - Dec 6 MARY JO KRUEGER - Dec 7 Jerry Pederstuen - Dec 8 MAXWELL MEURETT - Dec 8 RITA KOZAK - Dec 9 JOANNE OTTMAN - Dec 10 SHARON UTECHT - Dec 10 Angel MacMenamin - Dec 11 PAT LAFORTE - Dec 11 | | | SHARON ERICKSON - Dec 12 JOAN BUSSERT - Dec 16 JOAN FORD - Dec 16 PAMELA EIBS - Dec 17 Vicki Bolton - Dec 17 DEBBIE SMITH - Dec 19 SYLVIA BETLACH - Dec 19 LAUREN BIGAOUETTE - Dec 21 Jackie Corrigan - Dec 23 Barbara Hill - Dec 27 Mary Hejny - Dec 27 CAROLYN YOST - Dec 28 STEVE PERRY - Dec 31 | | | | | | | | | A Heartfelt Thank You for a Beautiful Annual Love Lights A sincere thank you to everyone who participated in our Annual Love Lights event this past Saturday, December 7th, at Bailey Park in Baldwin. With 95 individuals remembered during the Tree Lighting Ceremony it was truly a heartwarming evening. The weather was perfect, but it was the sense of connection with our community—coming together to remember and light up the lives of those we hold dear—that made the event so special. Your support in lighting up the lives of loved ones helped raise over $3,770 in support of Adoray, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for making this event such a meaningful and impactful celebration. | | | | | | This holiday season, we are reminded of the joy and warmth that comes from giving and receiving. This season of giving, we invite you to join us in spreading that joy to our hospice patients and their caregivers through our special end-of-the-year Holiday Wish List fundraiser. Inspired by the spirit of hope and joy that the holiday season brings, we have created a Wish List of items that will help bring comfort and happiness to those we serve throughout the year. Your generous support can make a significant difference in the lives of our hospice patients and their caregivers. We hope you will consider sponsoring one or more items from our Wish List by visiting the link below. Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of our community. Together, we can share the spirit of the holidays with those we serve all year long. | | | | | | | | Shorter days, longer nights, shopping lists, family, gatherings, cookie making, eggnog, glow of fire in the fireplace, meeting new people, giving gifts, celebrations, remembering years past, making new memories, visiting a friend, watching movies with grandchildren, sipping hot chocolate with marshmallows… The list of the December possibilities and opportunities is endless. | | | | In my first contribution to the Volunteer newsletter, I compared football with volunteering. Football is back on TV, and I am again reminded that my hospice volunteers have again shown how dedicated and incredible they are. Each one of you has shown me resilience, dedication, inspiration, and teamwork. You visit your patients, spend time with their family, and hold their hand at the end of their life journey. You grieve, cry, and console family members in their time of need. You honor our veteran patients. You share your service stories. Each one of you is unique in your own way. As a team of volunteers, you have shown me that anything is possible. Your work is undeniably a wonderful blessing to those you serve. Thank you. Martina 😊-grateful and thankful for each one of you | | Fun facts about December: - One third (31%) of annual giving occurs in December

A few of us were joking that makes 21 Christmases here in RF even more in Baldwin! How time flies! The stores could not deliver on our promise of great quality at wonderful prices without the help of our volunteers. The hours of cleaning, tagging, hanging, drying make a world of difference. And a huge shout out to our frontline teams that continue to smile and offer great customer service to our customers. It was a tremendous year, and we are so fortunate to have you all on the Adoray Treasures team! Per usual, the stores will be closed over Christmas and New Years to reset and re-imagine. We hope you take this time to enjoy all the season has to offer with your family and friends. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
